Dr. Lauren, originally from near Kewaskum, Wisconsin, graduated in the same class as Dr. Katrin from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. After practicing small animal medicine for nine years in Whitewater, Wisconsin she has made the move to Oconomowoc Animal Hospital and is greatly looking forward to getting to know all of you, your beloved animals, and this beautiful community. Her passion is working through the daily puzzles both in medicine and in piecing together the ideal solutions for each pet and their family, to provide the best care possible. She loves working with reptiles, birds, and small mammals, too.
In her free time, Dr. Lauren, her husband and two young sons love to camp, travel, hike, and watch wildlife. They have 2 handsome betta fish (Fred and Ninja), 3 lovely Vietnamese walking sticks (Moana, John, and Dew) and are in the process of finding the perfect canine companion to join their home since their senior lab and coonhound mix dogs have passed on. Dr. Lauren is also a budding straw bale gardening enthusiast and helps her husband, who’s devoted to restoring their seven-acre property to an oak savannah.
